Friday 5: Worst lines from the SW prequels

This Friday we have not a Top 5, but rather a Bottom 5.  More specifically, the 5 worst lines from the Star Wars prequel trilogy.  In all honest, I could have included the entire script from each movie for a Friday 3, but I felt like giving each gem of a line the proper credit it deserves, i.e. ridicule.

5. Now this is podracing!

RedLetterMedia's reviews of the prequels are all hilarious, and come highly recommended.  They point out all of the money holes in the films and ridiculous dialogue, including this winner.

4. The Terrible Joke

Bad jokes have been around for ages, even a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.  Obi Wan attempts to lighten the mood but Liam Neeson will have none of it.

3. The Problem with Sand

The first line on this list to not be from Episode I is surprisingly also the only one spoken by Hayden Christensen, in all of his emotionless, monotone glory.

2. Obi Wan Doubts His Doomed-ness

I felt like I had to include the entire fight with this one, but in case you want to skip to the best line in the whole scene (and trust me there are some other gems to be found here), go to the 1:40 mark or so.

1. The Younglings

Ok, what the hell George Lucas?  Younglings?  Really?  Is that the best you can do?  UGH I can't even talk about these movies anymore.

Another video, in case you are a masochist and enjoy these films.
